Jen Thornquest a proud Frances Perkins (FP) Scholar, uses her sociology major and nexus emphasis in journalism, media, and public discourse to investigate issues related to human migration, refugee advocacy, and higher education in preparation for her future positions in public service. In addition to her coursework, she is a DJ and the Specialty Show Director for the college public radio station, WMHC, and FP class senator. She looks forward to pursuing her Master’s Degree in International Studies and Development beginning fall 2024 at the Geneva Institute in Switzerland. Fun fact: Jen teaches circus skills to children to keep her life full of joy and the unexpected!
